In November 2024, the Executive Board reviewed and approved the TEBA Future Focus Report and Recommendations.
We have been enacting the strategy adopted by the Executive Board and are now moving toward the final steps of implementing the report recommendations. One recommendation addressed revisioning the present Governance Model of the TEBA:
Recommendation 8: For the Governance Model of the TEBA to be reviewed and revised, with the recommendations being presented to the Executive Board for final approval
To Include or Consider the following:

- To comply with the State of Texas 2011 Requirements for Nonprofit Corporations.
- To consider types of membership within the TEBA, which could include voting and nonvoting status.
- To consider relationship options with like-minded churches and ministries.
After careful study and consideration, the Associational Council has formed the amended documents and will be presenting them for discussion during the Executive Board Meeting on November 10th at the TEBA during the noon meeting. If accepted, the recommended changes would go into effect beginning January 1, 2027. The adoption of these amended documents is being handled in a measured process to afford ample time for discussion and consideration. Please take time to review the documents and be part of the two discussion opportunities as we continue to move forward as an Association.
