Allendale’s Fresh Start

by | Jan 25, 2024

It’s a new day at Allendale Baptist Church!  The TEBA, in conjunction with a leadership team consisting of Pastor Carl Williamson (Calvary Baptist Cleveland), Pastor Rob Ray (Porter’s First), and Pastor Scott Young (Fellowship of Willis), has walked alongside this church since entering a Revitalization process back in 2019.  Despite a number of bumps along the way, the Lord has faithfully protected this sweet congregation from the enemy’s attempts to steal their joy.  They have not only persevered but have remained unified throughout.  Given the large amount of urbanization near their campus, and under the leadership of interim pastor Reagan Reeves, their previously uncertain future has indeed shifted to one of clarity and expectant hope.  This is a testimony for all churches within the TEBA to the goodness of God and the great love he has for his bride, the Church.

On Sunday, Jan 21, Allendale Baptist Church completed the four-year Revitalization process with the TEBA, which included the return of the church’s autonomy.  Please join the TEBA in celebrating this achievement for Allendale and pray that the Lord will continue to guide them into their very best future.

** Is your church a potential candidate for revitalization?  The TEBA is hosting a Revitalization Summit at FBC Willis March 22-23.  Watch our website and your inbox for registration coming next week.  2024 could be the year your church resets on a positive footing.  We stand ready to assist you.
