September's pick from our library is, Forward Together: A New Vision for Senior Adult Ministry compiled by John Johnston. This book helps develop a vision and plan for involving seniors in ministry. "This resource tells you how to provide a comprehensive senior adult ministry to meet the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs of the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population" (Johnston, 1998). Location: Mexico City
Description: Churches will partner with national church or IMB church planters to saturate an area with the Gospel of John. Distribute 3,000 to 5,000 Gospels in a 4 day period. Groups (usually 5-8) will receive a training manual before they arrive.
